Interactive Field
PROJECT OUTLINE
This dimensional analysis aims to use 3D, 2D and 1D elements to create a cave, tent, and hut structure respectively. Then, all the methods used within the creation of these individual mini projects meet together in the Interactive Field to creative a hybrid structure that is usable as a public hang out.
The Cave project analyzes curvature and sharp edges forming and interacting in 3 dimensional forms. The collision results in a unique composition.
The Tent project aims to create a semi-enclosed space study through the usage of dissecting and offsetting
2 planes. The offsetted pieces interact to create
half enclosed environments.
The Hut project uses a continuous line to infill and imply a box boundary, meanwhile engen- dering dynamic form arrangements.
The Hybrid combines all the concepts from the previous dimension projects and creates an interactive field
that was made through curvature and sharp
edges intersecting, surfaces offsetting and a continuous profile that implies a bounding box.
